Expressions of interest are hereby requested from the general membership of the St. Patrick’s Cooperative Credit Union (SPCCU) for vacant positions in the following areas of Corporate Governance of the institution:

  1. Board of Directors
  2. Credit Committee
  3. Supervisory & Compliance Committee.

These vacant positions will be filled via elections at the upcoming Annual General Meeting of SPCCU.

Members are hereby reminded the service within the Corporate Governance Functions of SPCCU is voluntary and non- compensatory.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants to fill the post of Accounting & Finance Officer at the St Patrick’s Co-operative Credit Union Ltd.

Primary Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to undertake the following:

  • Maintain general and personal ledger accounts records and balances.
  • Maintaining fixed assets and inventory records and balances.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and investment broker dealer accounts.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
  • Monitor income and expenses in line with budgetary allocations.
  • Payroll administration.

Qualifications, Experience & Core Competencies

The applicants should possess the following qualifications:

  • Have a minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Accounting and/ or Finance.
  • Professional Qualifications in Accounting or pursuit thereof such as a CPA/ CGA/ACCA will be an asset.
  • Previous experience working in an accounting and finance position will be an asset.
  • Be computer literate with basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail and methodical approach
  • Values confidentiality, integrity, and ethical principles
  • Have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Contract Title: St. Patrick’s Cooperative Credit Union (SPCCU) Limited Refurbishment Works

The St. Patrick’s Cooperative Credit Union Limited (SPCCU) is desirous of refurbishment of its building located in Brades – Montserrat, and as a consequence is
seeking bids from local based contractors who are capable of performing the desired refurbishment works.

The scope of the repairs will include essential works to the frame, cladding, windows, fixtures, fittings, A/C and finishes. The repairs are necessary to improve
the function, aesthetics and overall life span of the (SPCCU) building.

Bidders will be invited to a non-mandatory site visit during the tender period to gain a full understanding of the scope of the works and the onsite conditions. The procurement process will be conducted in accordance with international industry standards and procedures.

All information relating to the bidding process including instructions to bidders, form of tender and Bills of Quantities can be collected at the St. Patrick’s Cooperative Credit Union Limited in Brade’s on Monday to Friday between 9am to 4 pm daily and can be also downloaded on the St. Patrick’s Cooperative Credit Union Website.
